The characteristics of jacquard fabric
① Moisture absorption: Jacquard fabrics have good moisture absorption. Under normal circumstances, cotton fibers can absorb moisture into the surrounding atmosphere, with a moisture content of 8-10%. Therefore, they come into contact with human skin and make people feel soft but not stiff. If the humidity of the jacquard fabric increases and the surrounding temperature is high, all the water content in the fibers will evaporate and dissipate, keeping the fabric in a water balance state and making people feel comfortable.
② Moisture retention: Due to the fact that jacquard fabric is a poor conductor of heat and electricity, with extremely low thermal conductivity, and due to the porous nature and high elasticity of cotton fibers, a large amount of air can accumulate between fibers. Air is also a poor conductor of heat and electricity, so jacquard fabric has good moisture retention. Wearing jacquard fabric clothing makes people feel warm.
③ Heat resistance: Jacquard fabrics have good heat resistance. When the temperature is below 110 ℃, it only causes moisture evaporation on the fabric and does not damage the fibers. Therefore, Jacquard fabrics have no effect on the fabric when worn, washed, printed, and dyed at room temperature, thereby improving the washing and wearing resistance of the fabric.
④ Alkali resistance: Jacquard fabrics have a high resistance to alkali. In alkaline solutions, the fibers of the jacquard fabric do not damage. This performance is conducive to washing and disinfecting clothing, as well as dyeing, printing, and various processing techniques for the jacquard fabric, in order to produce more new cotton varieties and clothing styles.
⑤ Hygiene: cotton fiber in jacquard fabric is natural fiber, and its main component is cellulose. Jacquard fabric has been tested and practiced in multiple aspects, and there is no stimulation or negative effect when it comes into contact with the skin. It is beneficial and harmless to the human body after prolonged wear, and has good hygiene performance.
